With Kelly’s it was essential to generate a sense of the products' Cornish origins in the packaging without it looking like a holiday memento.
The highest quality ice cream cornets featured photos of a Cornish beach scene with the colour of the sky reflecting the flavour variant...strawberry with a pink sunset over the beach, while the toffee-fudge flavour had tobacco-coloured sky over dramatic cliffs. These scenes were balanced with the very best product photography and a cameo shot of the ingredients... all framed on an expensive black box.
